The Ravenna neighborhood is north and east of the University District. It is a great satellite neighborhood for students and staff of the university. Ravenna is known for being very bikeable and walkable. It's easy to get down to all the shops, restaurants and hang-outs in the U-district as well as cross west to Greenlake and enjoy Greenlake park. Ravenna also has its share of coffee shops, book shops and quaint corners. Ravenna is also known for its customized old craftsman homes with bright front doors or creative exterior color. Ravenna is a desirable location in the north end of Seattle.
